If your current SSSC certificate is expired or about to expire you can revalidate it by sitting a Refresher course. It involves participating in the Wetdrills, taking the 25-question assessment and an update on techniques and equipment. All that can be done in conjunction with the full course. If you already have marine qualifications, you may be eligible for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). Check out this link to the AS website for more information.
