Who we work with
Who we work with:
When working in small, niche industry, it is important to work together in order to provide customers with best possible value and experience.
We like to work with like-minded individuals and organisations that share a similar ethos of providing quality, relevant and accredited courses. We also believe that if we work together to grow the pie by providing quality products, we all win.
We also value organisations that have empathy and treat with respect students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Learning about boats is supposed to be fun, and we like to keep it that way.
SisterShip Training
SisterShip Training (SisterShip Training Pty Ltd – ABN 99 635 698 896) is a husband (Noel) and wife (Jackie) team with an extensive amount of experience including sailing around the world, canals, working with marine rescue and other commercial ventures.
They are passionate about honesty, care, professionalism, environmental awareness (on every level), and, perhaps the most important, authenticity.
As a result of their experience on and off the water, they have built Sistership Training in order to provide a positive alternative to international and TAFE courses that emphasises relevance and support.
We are happy to deliver courses in partnership with Sistership Training as we believe the content is outstanding. For more info on what they do, check out their website.
Check out this podcast between me and Jackie where we discuss all things boating and sailing:
NAVatHOME
NAVatHOME Australia focuses on delivering the RYA Southern Hemisphere course material to students located in the southern hemisphere. The school is operated by the Punch family with NAVatHOME Australia operating from Western Australia.
We understand that not everyone has the money or time to attend a face-to-face or virtual RYA course. A self-paced course that you can complete online is a great solution, and we are happy to offer that alternative to our students. For student that need a bit of help if they get stuck Ocean Boardroom works with NAVatHOME’s students to provide online tutoring to help them get unstuck.
NAVtaHOME offers the most comprehensive suite of online RYA shorebased courses.
Another business we are very proud to work with is MySail. MySail was born out of a passion for sailing. A passion shared by sailors everywhere. A passion to build and grow participation and the love of sailing. To help sailors sail more, do more and be more. MySail’s mission is to bring sailors together and help them connect and share in the spirit and camaraderie of the sport and lifestyle we love. They want to help sailors achieve their sailing goals, whether it is to sail faster, sail further, take control, learn something new, or just fill your senses with the wonderment, enjoyment and achievement that sailing can offer. If you want to learn more about what they do, check out their website.
