Terms & Conditions

  • If you book for another person or persons you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these booking conditions on their behalf.

  • When you book with Ocean Boardroom Pty Ltd, ACN 650906031 (Ocean Boardroom) in Australia or pay a deposit in Australian dollars (AUD) at oceanboardroom.com.au you are making a contract with Ocean Boardroom to be construed under the laws of New South Wales.

  • Information given by you in a booking form online and by Ocean Boardroom in an acceptance email forms part of our contract.

  • Ocean Boardroom reserves the right to make such changes to the advertised programme as are necessary due to unavoidable circumstances.

  • In the event of your cancellation the following charges apply. More than 30 days’ notice: your payment will be held as credit for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of booking and may transferred to any alternative booking with Ocean Boardroom, or we can give you a full refund/ 30-15 days’ notice: 50% of the amount invoiced / Less than 15 days’ notice: 0% of the amount invoiced.

  • In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Ocean Boardroom a full refund will be made and Ocean Boardroom will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage.

  • Ocean Boardroom trainers will use their best endeavours to ensure you achieve the advertised qualifications but no guarantee is offered in this respect.

  • You agree to comply with Ocean Boardroom operating procedures issued for your course or event.

  • Ocean Boardroom excludes liability for death or physical or mental injury to the customer howsoever caused arising from or in connection with the delivery of services under this agreement.

  • The customer indemnifies Ocean Boardroom against all claims and liabilities arising from the death or physical or mental injury to the customer howsoever caused arising from or in connection with the delivery of services under this agreement.

  • The customer acknowledges and accepts that boating activities carry inherent risks such as those arising from physical exertion, slips and falls, adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, remoteness from medical services.

  • Minimum number required for dates to be confirmed. If the course doesn't go ahead, you will be moved to the next course, a credit can be given for another course, or we can give you a refund.

  • If you test positive for Covid-19, we will follow the official government health order at the time. If you need to miss a booked course due to self-isolation, we will accommodate you on the next date of your convenience. Refunds are not given.
